...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN ONEIDA COUNTY
THROUGH 645 PM EDT...

At 618 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Boonville to near Delta Lake. Movement was
northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Rome, Trenton, Boonville, Forestport, Steuben, Ava, Remsen, Prospect,
Barneveld, and Alder Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
