...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN SENECA...YATES AND
NORTH CENTRAL STEUBEN COUNTIES THROUGH 400 PM EDT...

At 334 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over Guyanoga, or 9 miles southwest of Penn Yan, moving
northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Seneca Falls, Waterloo, Penn Yan, Fayette, Benton, Potter, Middlesex,
Pulteney, Italy, and Rushville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
