...Areas of locally heavy rain will impact portions of eastern 
Windham, southern Plymouth, southern Bristol, northeastern 
Washington, Newport, Kent, southern Providence and Bristol Counties 
through 700 AM EDT...

At 530 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of heavy downpours 
from Killingly CT to East Greenwich to Mattapoisett, moving slowly 
to the northwest.

HAZARD...Minor flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor nuisance flooding of typically flood prone areas. 
         Difficult travel during the Thursday morning commute, 
         especially in Providence, Fall River and New Bedford.

Providence, New Bedford, Fall River, Warwick, Cranston, Pawtucket,
East Providence, Coventry, Dartmouth, North Providence, South
Kingstown, West Warwick, Johnston, North Kingstown, Newport, Bristol,
Somerset, Portsmouth, Barrington, and Middletown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive through flooded roads or underpasses. Avoid low lying 
areas near small streams.
