...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN OVERTON...
NORTHWESTERN PICKETT...NORTHEASTERN SMITH...NORTHERN JACKSON...CLAY
AND SOUTHEASTERN MACON COUNTIES THROUGH 100 PM CDT...

At 1222 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles south of Red Boiling Springs, or 11 miles northeast of
Carthage, moving northeast at 65 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Celina, Gainesboro, Byrdstown, Red Boiling Springs, Wolf River Dock,
Whitleyville, Moss, Pleasant Shade, and Dale Hollow Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 PM CDT for Middle
Tennessee.
