...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of Hopkins and central
Delta Counties through 830 AM CDT...

At 802 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Sulphur Springs, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of Hopkins and central
Delta Counties, including the following locations... Martin Springs,
Weaver, Tira, New Birthright, Ridgeway, Pine Forest, Flora, Nelta,
Peerless, and Dike.

This includes Interstate 30 between mile markers 111 and 142.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
