...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN MCCULLOCH...EAST
CENTRAL MENARD AND NORTHERN MASON COUNTIES THROUGH 1000 PM CDT...

At 924 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
The Intersection Of Us-
190 And Ranch Road 1311, or near Calf Creek, moving southeast at 20
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Brady, Fredonia, Camp San Saba, Streeter, Camp Air, Long Mountain,
Calf Creek, Grit, Katemcy, Voca, Erna, The Intersection Of Us-
190 And Ranch Road 1311, The Intersection Of Highway 29 And Ranch
Road 1222, and Koockville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in San Angelo.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
west central Texas.
