...ELEVATED WILDFIRE RISK THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Very low relative humidity values of 15 to 25 percent,
  northwest winds at 5 to 15 mph, and dry vegetation will result
  in an elevated wildfire risk. 

* WHERE...All of central and southern Minnesota and west central
  Wisconsin. 

* WHEN...This afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Fires could develop quickly and spread due to low 
  humidity and steady north or northwest winds. 

* ACTIONS...Check with your local authorities or the Department of
  Natural Resources to see whether any burning restrictions are in
  place in your county before starting fires.
