...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WOOD...PORTAGE AND WAUSHARA
COUNTIES THROUGH 730 PM CDT...

At 649 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles east of Shortville to 6 miles east of
Babcock to near Friendship to near Portage. Movement was north at 85
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Stevens Point, Wisconsin Rapids, Wautoma, Marshfield, Redgranite,
Whiting, Amherst, Pittsville, Plainfield, and Napowan Scout Camp.
