The National Weather Service in Fairbanks has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Central Deltana and Tanana Flats in Alaska...
  Northwestern Eastern Alaska Range in Alaska...

* Until 800 PM AKDT

* At 708 PM AKDT, Doppler radar indicated a line of severe
  thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60
  mph. These storms were located along a line extending from 20 miles
  north of Quartz Lake to 25 miles south of Fort Greely, and moving
  west at 35 mph.

* These severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly rural areas of
  central Deltana and Tanana Flats and northwestern Eastern Alaska
  Range.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Severe thunderstorms produce damaging winds, destructive hail, deadly
lightning and very heavy rain. For your protection, move to an
