  South central Lauderdale County in northwestern Alabama...
  Colbert County in northwestern Alabama...
  Northeastern Franklin County in northwestern Alabama...

* Until 600 AM CDT.

* At 530 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Cherokee, or
  14 miles west of Tuscumbia, moving southeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Florence, Muscle Shoals, Russellville, Sheffield, Tuscumbia,
  Cherokee, Littleville, Leighton, Malone, and Posey Loop.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
