  Carlisle County in western Kentucky...
  Southern Ballard County in western Kentucky...
  Mississippi County in southeastern Missouri...
  Southeastern Scott County in southeastern Missouri...
  North central New Madrid County in southeastern Missouri...

* Until 530 AM CDT.

* At 443 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 6 miles south of Horseshoe Lake Conservation Area to
  near Bertrand, moving east at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to 
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Charleston, East Prairie, Cairo, Miner, Bardwell, Wickliffe,
  Bertrand, Wyatt, Anniston, Arlington, Diehlstadt, Wilson City, and
  Blandville.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 57 in Missouri between Mile Markers 1 and 21.
 Interstate 55 between Mile Markers 61 and 66.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 AM CDT for southern
Illinois...western Kentucky...and southeastern Missouri.
