  Lauderdale County in west Tennessee...
  Northwestern Haywood County in west Tennessee...

* Until 115 AM CDT.

* At 1229 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles northwest
  of Ripley, moving east at 55 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Dyersburg, Blytheville, Humboldt, Ripley, Trenton, Alamo, Dyer,
  Halls, Rutherford, Forked Deer, Chestnut Bluff, Bradleytown,
  Unionville, Eaton, Ashport, Maury City, Friendship, Gates, Gadsden,
  and Yorkville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
storm shelter or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
