The National Weather Service in OXNARD has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Central Ventura County in southwestern California...

* Until 230 AM PST.
    
* At 154 AM PST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near El Rio and Saticoy and moving north at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over Saticoy and west of 
  Santa Paula.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
OXNARD.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
