  North central Craven County in eastern North Carolina...
  Southwestern Beaufort County in eastern North Carolina...
  West central Pamlico County in eastern North Carolina...

* Until 400 AM EDT.
    
* At 329 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Askins, or 9 miles northwest of New Bern, moving
  northeast at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Askins around 345 AM EDT.
  Ernul around 350 AM EDT.
  Blounts Creek, Cayton and Cox Crossroads around 400 AM EDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest 
floor of a sturdy build.ing. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in 
a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial 
shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.
