The National Weather Service in Omaha has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southwestern Pottawattamie County in southwestern Iowa...
  Eastern Sarpy County in east central Nebraska...
  Eastern Douglas County in east central Nebraska...
  North central Cass County in southeastern Nebraska...

* Until 515 PM CDT.

* At 425 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Louisville, or 11 miles southeast of Gretna,
  moving northeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and hail up to two inches in diameter.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Springfield and Cedar Creek around 430 PM CDT.
  Papillion and Walnut Creek Recreation Area around 435 PM CDT.
  Eastern Omaha, Bellevue, Ralston, Offutt AFB, La Vista, and 
  Prairie Queen Recreation Area around 440 PM CDT.
  South Omaha around 445 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of this tornadic thunderstorm include
western Council Bluffs, Midtown, Aksarben, Carter Lake, Benson,
Eppley Airfield and Florence.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.
