The National Weather Service in Hastings has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southeastern Nuckolls County in south central Nebraska...
  Southern Thayer County in south central Nebraska...

* Until 1015 PM CDT.
    
* At 947 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Ruskin, or 21 miles northwest of Belleville,
  moving southeast at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Byron around 1000 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of this tornadic thunderstorm include
Chester and Hubbell.
