...Snow and Winds Impacting Travel Into The Afternoon...

.Narrow bands of snow through the morning are expected to 
continue the afternoon. Snowfall rates of 0.5" per hour seen 
within these heavier bands, decreasing visibilities below 1 mile 
at times. These stronger snowfall bands depart to the east through
central Wisconsin today. Additional accumulations of 1 to 2 
inches expected for the Winter Weather Advisory.

Increased wind gusts from 40 to 50 mph will exacerbate visibility
reductions. Additionally, the combination of strong winds with
heavier snow can fell tree branches or power lines.

Travel will be impacted through the morning commute, especially
untreated roads and cooler ridge tops. Exercise caution.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY WILL EXPIRE AT 10 AM CDT THIS
MORNING...

Light snow will continue through the afternoon with accumulations
of less than an inch expected. As a result, the Winter Weather 
Advisory will be allowed to expire. 

A Wind Advisory remains in effect through the evening with wind 
gusts of 40 to 50 mph. This may lead to drifting snow in spots. In
addition, higher wind gusts with snow covered trees may lead to
isolated power outages and tree damage.
