* Dust Storm Warning for...
Northwestern Otero County in south central New Mexico...

* Until 630 PM MDT.

* At 434 PM MDT, a line of severe thunderstorms was likely producing
an area of blowing dust west of U.S. Highway 54. This area of dust
will cross Highway 54 roughly between Alamogordo and Tularosa
shortly.

HAZARD...Less than a quarter mile visibility with damaging winds in
excess of 60 mph.

SOURCE...Doppler radar.

IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel.

Locations impacted include...
Tularosa, White Sands National Monument, Three Rivers, Alamogordo,
Burro Flats, La Luz, Holloman Air Force Base, Boles Acres, Oliver Lee
State Park and Three Rivers Petroglyph Site.
