* At 438 PM HST, radar indicated heavy rain continuing over the
slopes of Haleakala. Rain rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour were
detected over the Haiku and Hana areas. Low spots along Waikoloa
Road and Ulaino Road near Hana may become impassable. Heavy rain
southwest of Kihei may also move onshore and cause urban flooding
from Maalaea to Wailea.

Kahului, Haliimaile, Waikapu, Paia, Makawao, Wailuku, Keokea,
Waiehu, Haiku-Pauwela and Wailea.
