* At 508 PM HST, radar indicated heavy rain and thunderstorms
upslope of Pololu and Waipio Valleys. Rainfall rates up to 3
inches per hour have been observed, and Kawainui Stream has
reached 6 feet. Police report flooding along Kohala Mountain Road,
Kawaihae Road and near Waimea.

is expected over the warned areas. Flash flooding is expected to
begin shortly especially in and along Rio Mameyes, Rio Espiritu
Santo and their tributaries due to excessive runoff.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Fajardo, Canovanas, Loiza, Ceiba, Luquillo, Rio Grande, Campo Rico,
Roosevelt Roads, Aguas Claras, Santa Barbara, Luis M. Cintron,
