Charlevoix County in northern Michigan...
* Until 215 PM EDT
* At 1008 AM EDT, local law enforcement and the Charlevoix Road
Commission reported flooding on some area roadways due to heavy
rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have already
fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Boyne City, Charlevoix, East Jordan, Boyne Falls, Fishermans Island
State Park, Ironton, Horton Bay, Walloon Lake and Young State Park.
Some flooded roads are closed. Mud and debris was reported on Boyne
City Charlevoix Road. So far, most of the reported flooding has been
across the eastern side of Charlevoix county.
Additional rainfall amounts of around an inch are possible in the
warned area through early afternoon.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Commission reported flooding on some area roadways due to heavy
rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have already
fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Boyne City, Charlevoix, East Jordan, Boyne Falls, Fishermans Island
State Park, Ironton, Horton Bay, Walloon Lake and Young State Park.
Some flooded roads are closed. Mud and debris was reported on Boyne
City Charlevoix Road. So far, most of the reported flooding has been
across the eastern side of Charlevoix county.
Additional rainfall amounts of around an inch are possible in the
warned area through early afternoon.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

* At 613 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 8 miles south of Ramirez, or 14 miles west of
Falfurrias, and is moving slowly soutwestward.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northwestern Brooks County and just south of Highway 285.
