showers mainly in northwest Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma south of 

I44. Showers were heaviest in Benton county in Arkansas. The 

precipitation was in the Bentonville, Rogers and Fayetteville area. 

Movement was to the northeast at around 35 mph. The average amount 

where it rained last hour was less than one tenth of an inch with 

maximum amounts of one tenth to one quarter of an inch. Coverage and 

intensity remained about the same as last hour. The Tulsa area 

forecast for early this evening, a chance of showers and a slight 

chance of thunderstorms with temperatures 68 to 77 degrees and south 

winds 10 to 20 mph along with gusts up to 35 mph.
