showers generally southwest of a Tulsa to Fort Smith line. Showers 

were heaviest in Okmulgee, Creek and Pushmataha counties in Oklahoma 

and was more widespread in northcentral Oklahoma. Movement was to 

the southeast at around 25 mph. The average amount where it rained 

last hour was less than one tenth of an inch with maximum amounts of 

one tenth to one quarter of an inch. Coverage increased during the 

last hour. The Tulsa area forecast for early this afternoon, mostly 

cloudy, a chance of showers and thunderstorms with temperatures 68 

to 75 degrees and east winds 5 to 10 mph.
