and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain north of I44 and east of 

highway 75 and also in Arkansas east of I49. Thunderstorms with 

locally heavy rain were located in Rogers and Craig counties in 

Oklahoma. Movement was to the northeast at greater than 40 mph. The 

average amount where it rained last hour was around one quarter of 

an inch with maximum amounts of an inch to an inch and a half. 

Coverage and intensity decreased during the last hour. The Tulsa 

area forecast for late this afternoon and early this evening, partly 

sunny then becoming partly cloudy, a chance of showers and 

thunderstorms with slight a chance of showers and thunderstorms and 

some thunderstorms may be severe.
