CHST WEDNESDAY...



* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 7 to 9 feet.



* WHERE...North facing reefs of Chuuk.



* WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 5 PM ChST Wednesday.



* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and 

  localized beach erosion.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A long-period northeast swell is expected

  to reach Chuuk this afternoon and build surf up to 9 feet along

  north facing reefs through at least Wednesday.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to

dangerous surf conditions.
