   Agulhas and St Lucia spreading to Maputo by mid-period.

   Point and Hermanus in the evening.



4. Moderate visibility in showers and thundershowers is expected in the

   extreme northern parts of the Mozambique Channel and moderate in light

   showers over the central and southern parts of the Mozambique Channel

   from mid-period.

WIND     : S to SE 10 to 20.

VIS      : Poor in fog for the first half of the period, otherwise good.

SEA STATE: 2.0m, with S to SW swell.



WALVIS BAY TO ORANGE RIVER:

WIND     : S to SE 15 to 25 reaching 30 in the vicinity of Lderitz for

           the first half of the period.

VIS      : Poor in fog for the first half of the period, otherwise good.

SEA STATE: 2.0 to 2.5m, with S to SW swell.



ORANGE RIVER TO CAPE AGULHAS

WIND     : S to SE 15 to 25 reaching 30 in places south of Cape Columbine

           but 35 to 40 between Cape Point and Hermanus in the evening.

VIS      : Good but poor in fog north of Hondeklip Bay for the first half

           of the period.

SEA STATE: 2.0 to 3.0m reaching 3.5 to 4.0m south of Cape Columbine from

           mid-period, with mainly S to SW swell.



CAPE AGULHAS TO EAST LONDON

WIND     : SW to W 05 to 10 reaching 15 east of Cape St Francis at first.

           It will become SE to E 10 to 20 across the coast from mid-

           morning reaching 25 to 30 in the Agulhas area from the

           afternoon.

VIS      : Moderate in showers and rain.

SEA STATE: 2.0m reaching 2.5 to 3.0m in the Agulhas area spreading to

           Mossel Bay by the end of the period, with mainly S to SE

           swell.



EAST LONDON TO MAPUTO:

WIND     : S to SE 05 to 15 north of Richards Bay at first, otherwise S

           to SW 15 to 25. It will become SE 05 to 10 south of Port

           Shepstone from mid-period.

VIS      : Good but moderate in showers and rain south of St Lucia

           spreading to Maputo by mid-period.

SEA STATE: 2.0 to 2.5m, with S to SW swell.



MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL:

WIND     : S to SE 10 to 20.

VIS      : Good but moderate in showers and thundershowers in the extreme

           north. It will become moderate in light showers over the

           central and southern parts from mid-period.
