   Frio and Hermanus as well as along the south coast between Cape

   Agulhas and East London, becoming good along the south coast from the

   afternoon but clearing partially along the west coast where it will

   return in the evening.



2. Moderate visibility in showers and thundershowers is expected in the

   northern parts of the Mozambique Channel.

CUNENE RIVER TO WALVIS BAY:

WIND     : SE to S 15 to 20, reaching 25 north of Cape Frio at first.

VIS      : Poor in fog in places south of Cape Frio, clearing by the late

           morning and returning from the evening.



WALVIS BAY TO ORANGE RIVER:

WIND     : SE to S 10 to 20, reaching 25 at Luderitz at times from the

           afternoon.

VIS      : Poor in fog, clearing partially from the late morning and

           returning in the evening.

SEA STATE: 2.0 to 2.5m between Walvis Bay and Luderitz from the

           afternoon, SW to S swell.



ORANGE RIVER TO CAPE AGULHAS

WIND     : Variable 05 south of Cape Columbine until mid-morning,

           becoming NW 05 to 10 from the afternoon, otherwise S to SE 05

           to 15 reaching 20 to 25 north of Hondeklip Bay towards the end

           of the period.

VIS      : Poor in fog between Alexander Bay and Hermanus, clearing

           between Alexander Bay and Lambert's Bay in the afternoon and

           returning in the evening.

SEA STATE: 2.0 to 2.5m reaching 3.0m south of Cape Point towards the end

           of the period, SW swell.



CAPE AGULHAS TO EAST LONDON

WIND     : E 10, but NE 15 to 20 to the east of Port Alfred, spreading to

           Algoa Bay by sunrise. It will become W to NW 10 to 15 between

           Mossel Bay and Port Elizabeth from the morning, spreading to

           East London by the early evening.

VIS      : Poor in fog in places between Cape Agulhas and East London,

           becoming good in the afternoon.

SEA STATE: 2.5 to 3.0m, S to SW swell.



EAST LONDON TO MAPUTO:

WIND     : S to SE 05 to 15 north of Richards Bay until mid-period,

           otherwise E to NE 05  to 15, reaching 20 to 25 south of Cape

           St. Lucia.

VIS      : Good.

SEA STATE: 2.0 to 2.5m south of Durban at first, spreading to Richards

           Bay late morning, SW swell.



MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL:

WIND     : SW 10 to 15 in the extreme east-central at first, otherwise S

           to SE 10 to 15, reaching 20 in the extreme south-east but 25

           in extreme north-east.

VIS      : Good but moderate in showers and thundershowers in places in

           the north.

SEA STATE: 2.0 to 2.5m in the extreme south-east towards the end of the

           period.
