.SYNOPSIS FOR NORTHERN CALIFORNIA WATERS...Strong northerly winds

will continue with increasing coverage of gale force gusts through 

the afternoon and evening. Steep short period seas in excess of 10 

feet will accompany these winds. These strong winds persist into 

tonight then gradually shunt further offshore Monday and 

significantly weaken mid-week.
