* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be 

  possible.



* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Kentucky, including 

  the following counties, in east central Kentucky, Estill. In 

  southeast Kentucky, Lee.



* WHEN...Until 2 AM EDT Wednesday.



* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flash flooding of creeks, 

  streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - Additional rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected

    through late this evening. Each round of showers and

    thunderstorms will have the potential to produce heavy rain,

    with each successive round having an increasing potential for

    excessive runoff. Rainfall totals for this event will

    generally range from 1 to 2 inches, with locally higher

    amounts possible.
