...FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR A DAM FLOODGATE RELEASE REMAINS IN EFFECT 

THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON...



* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by upstream dam release continues to 

  be possible.



* WHERE...A portion of central Illinois, including the following 

  county, Sangamon.



* WHEN...Through Wednesday afternoon.



* IMPACTS...This floodgate release will substantially increase the 

  flow of water in Sugar Creek, downstream of Spaulding Dam. 

  Low-lying areas along the creek may begin to flood.
