...FLOOD WATCH IS CANCELLED...



The Flood Watch is cancelled for a portion of southeast Texas, 

including the following areas, Brazos, Burleson, Houston and Madison.



There is ongoing flooding across parts of the region, though rain is 

coming to an end. No additional flooding than what is already 

ongoing is anticipated. Therefore, the Flood Watch is being 

cancelled. That said, it is important to not to drive across water 

covered roadways.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CDT THIS MORNING...



* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be 

  possible.



* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following 

  areas, Grimes, Montgomery, Northern Liberty, Polk, San Jacinto, 

  Trinity and Walker.



* WHEN...Until 10 AM CDT this morning.



* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, 

  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. 

  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur 

  in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be 

  flooded. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and 

  rivers are possible.
