...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY MORNING THROUGH FRIDAY 

EVENING...



* WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues to be 

  possible.



* WHERE...A portion of Central Highlands Maine, including the 

  following areas, Central Piscataquis and Southern Piscataquis.



* WHEN...From Friday morning through Friday evening.



* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, 

  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - Rainfall of 1 to 2 inches with locally higher amounts can be

    expected across the area Friday into Friday evening.  The

    rain will combine with snowmelt up to the equivalent of 2

    inches.  The combination of rain and snowmelt  will cause

    streams and creeks to rise and may result in minor flooding.
