* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be 

  possible.



* WHERE...Niihau and Kauai.



* WHEN...From midnight HST tonight through late Sunday night.



* IMPACTS...Flood prone roads and other low lying areas may be 

  closed due to elevated runoff and overflowing streams. Urban areas 

  may receive more significant flooding and property damage due to 

  rapid runoff.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - A slow moving front will produce heavy showers and

    thunderstorms over Kauai County. Due to pre-existing wet soil

    conditions, any additional heavy rainfall will quickly lead

    to runoff and flash flooding concerns. Weather conditions

    should begin to improve by Monday morning with decreasing

    rainfall amounts.
