...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM CDT THIS 

AFTERNOON FOR NORTHERN BELL COUNTY...



At 103 PM CDT, Radar and automated gages reported between 2 and 6 

inches of rain. Flash flooding continues to impact the county with 

multiple closed roads reported.



HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing

         flash flooding.



SOURCE...Emergency management



IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,

         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.



Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...

  Killeen, Temple, Copperas Cove, Harker Heights, Belton, Fort 

  Cavazos, Nolanville, Morgan's Point Resort, Salado, Troy, Belton 

  Lake, Stillhouse Hollow Lake, Union Grove, White Hall, Woodland, 

  Moffat, Owl Creek, The Grove, Meadow Grove and Pendleton.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.



Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
