...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 PM PST THIS 

AFTERNOON FOR CENTRAL FRESNO AND NORTH CENTRAL TULARE COUNTIES...



At 318 PM PST, Light to moderate rainfall will continue over the 

warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.



HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain earlier that is

         slowly diminishing.



SOURCE...Radar.



IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,

         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor

         drainage and low-lying areas.



Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...

  Yokuts Valley, Pinehurst and Azalea Campground.



This includes the following streams and drainages...

  Tenmile Creek, Kings River, Mill Creek, Bear Creek, Cabin Creek, 

  Badger Creek, Bull Creek, Rough Creek, Sampson Creek, Sand Creek, 

  White Deer Creek, Dry Creek, Zebe Creek and Mill Flat Creek.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.
