  Southwestern Caddo Parish in northwestern Louisiana...

  Southwestern Webster Parish in northwestern Louisiana...

  Gregg County in northeastern Texas...

  Harrison County in northeastern Texas...

  Northeastern Panola County in northeastern Texas...

  Northern Rusk County in northeastern Texas...

  East Central Smith County in northeastern Texas...

  Southeastern Upshur County in northeastern Texas...



* Until 230 AM CDT.



* At 1220 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 

  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain 

  have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts 1 to 2 inches are 

  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing and 

  expected to continue.



  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban

           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as

           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

  Shreveport, Longview, Bossier City, Marshall, Kilgore, White Oak, 

  Gladewater, Hallsville, Haughton, Greenwood, Blanchard, Waskom, 

  Clarksville City, Doyline, East Mountain, Elysian Fields, Fosters, 

  Eastwood, West Mountain and Liberty City.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.



Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 

dangers of flooding.



Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
