...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM AST THIS AFTERNOON...



* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive 

  rainfall is expected.



* WHERE...Jayuya, Lares and Utuado.



* WHEN...Until 445 PM AST.



* IMPACTS...Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. 



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 144 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to

    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream

    flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.

  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over

    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.





PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.

...ADVERTENCIA DE INUNDACIONES EN EFECTO HASTA LAS 445 PM AST DE 

ESTA TARDE...



* QUÉ...Se esperan inundaciones urbanas y de riachuelos causados 

  por la lluvia excesiva.



* DÓNDE...Anasco, Moca y San Sebastián.



* CUÁNDO...Hasta las 445 PM AST.



* IMPACTOS...Aumentos en riachuelos y arroyos normalmente secos. 



* DETALLES ADICIONALES... 

  - A las 141 PM AST, el radar Doppler indicó lluvia fuerte debido 

    a tormentas eléctricas. Esto causará inundaciones urbanas y de 

    riachuelos. Entre 1 y 2 pulgadas de lluvia han caído.

  - Se esperan cantidades de lluvia adicionales de hasta 1 pulgada 

    sobre el área. Esta lluvia adicional resultará en inundaciones 

    menores.





MEDIDAS DE PRECAUCIÓN/PREPARACIÓN...



Vire, no se ahogue cuando se encuentre con carreteras inundadas. La 

mayoría de las muertes relacionadas con inundaciones ocurren en 

vehículos.
