Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.



Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 

cars through flooded areas.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...Suwannee River at Luraville (SR 51).



* WHEN...Until Sunday, April 28.



* IMPACTS...At 37.0 feet, Agricultural and timber lands flooded. In 

  Suwannee County flooding begins to affect the western portion of 

  290th drive near Boeing Drive.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 8:00 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 37.4 feet.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours

    ending at 8:00 PM EDT Sunday was 37.4 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 37.5

    feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood

    stage Sunday, April 28.

  - Flood stage is 35.0 feet.

  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of

    37.8 feet on 12/26/2018.
