...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

...REPLACES FLASH FLOOD WARNING...



* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.



* WHERE...A portion of Big Bend Florida, including the following 

  counties, Gadsden, Jefferson and Leon.



* WHEN...Until 1000 AM EDT.



* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying 

  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads 

  remain closed due to flooding.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 644 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported heavy rain in

    the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing.

    Between 6 and 12 inches of rain have fallen.

  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is

    expected.

  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...

    Tallahassee, Woodville, Monticello, Florida A and M, Florida

    State University, Tallahassee Community College, Havana,

    Midway, Doak Campbell Stadium, Ralford Greenway, Miccosukee

    Road Greenway, Chaires, Apalachee Regional Park, Tom Brown

    Park, Chaires Crossroads, St. Marks Headwaters Greenway,

    Capitola, Baum, Killearn Estates and Pisgah Church.
