...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...



* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.



* WHERE...Portions of southeast Ohio, including the following 

  counties, Athens, Meigs and Washington and West Virginia, 

  including the following counties, Jackson and Wood.



* WHEN...Until 200 PM EDT.



* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, larger creeks, and other low-lying 

  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 853 AM EDT, Flooding continues along some of the larger

    creeks throughout the warned area. This includes portions of

    Duck Creek, the Little Muskingum River, Symmes Creek, and the

    Shade River.

  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...

    Coolville, Williamstown, Whipple, Washington, Lubeck,

    Chester, and Syracuse.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.
