...The National Weather Service in Charleston WV has issued a Flood 

Warning for the following rivers in Ohio...West Virginia...



  Ohio River At Parkersburg affecting Wood and Washington Counties.



For the Ohio River...Moderate flooding is forecast.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.



Report flooding to the National Weather Service by calling toll 

free, 800 401 9535, when you can do so safely.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT TO MONDAY AFTERNOON...



* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...Ohio River at Parkersburg.



* WHEN...From late tonight to Monday afternoon.



* IMPACTS...At 38.0 feet, Several homes flooded in the Happy Valley 

  and Point Drive areas near Parkersburg, along the Little Kanawha 

  River. A few homes are flooded on Annas Drive in Vienna, West 

  Virginia. Dave's Marina, Walnut Street, and Scott Avenue in 

  Belpre, Ohio, start to flood.

  At 40.0 feet, Most of Happy Valley is flooded. Sections of Vienna, 

  West Virginia along the Ohio River are flooded. Walnut and John 

  Streets in Belpre, Ohio are flooded.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 11:00 AM EDT Friday the stage was 32.5 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage

    just after midnight tonight to a crest of 39.3 feet Sunday

    morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Monday

    morning.

  - Flood stage is 36.0 feet.

  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of

    39.4 feet on 01/29/1994.
