...The National Weather Service in Charleston WV has issued a Flood 

Warning for the following rivers in West Virginia...



  Little Kanawha River at Grantsville affecting Wirt and Calhoun 

  Counties.



For the Little Kanawha River...Minor flooding is forecast.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.



Report flooding to the National Weather Service by calling toll 

free, 800 401 9535, when you can do so safely.

* WHERE...Little Kanawha River at Grantsville.



* WHEN...From this evening to just after midnight tonight.



* IMPACTS...At 36.0 feet, Homes along North River Street between 

  Main Street and Mill Street flood. Baseball field on School Street 

  floods.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 11:00 AM EDT Friday the stage was 33.2 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 36.0

    feet this evening.

  - Flood stage is 36.0 feet.

  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of

    36.2 feet on 11/23/2011.
