...The National Weather Service in Tallahassee FL has issued a Flood 

Warning for the following rivers in Florida...



  Suwannee River at Luraville (SR 51) affecting Lafayette and 

  Suwannee Counties.



For the Middle Suwannee River...including Luraville (SR 51)...Minor 

flooding is forecast.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 

cars through flooded areas.



Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY EVENING UNTIL FURTHER 

NOTICE...



* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...Suwannee River at Luraville (SR 51).



* WHEN...From Tuesday evening until further notice.



* IMPACTS...At 39.0 feet, Access to homes on 290th drive in Suwannee 

  County and NW Riverbank Road in Lafayette County become restricted.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 10:00 AM EDT Monday the stage was 33.7 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage

    tomorrow evening and continue rising to 38.4 feet Saturday

    morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter.

  - Flood stage is 35.0 feet.

  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of

    38.3 feet on 10/15/1929.
