Warning for the following rivers in Nevada...



  Owyhee River near Mountain City affecting Elko County.



For the Owyhee River...including Mountain City...Minor flooding is 

forecast.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.



Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

  - At 5:40 AM PDT Tuesday the stage was 7.9 feet.

  - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.

  - Forecast...The river will oscillate around flood stage with a

    maximum value of 8.1 feet late tonight.
