Warning for the following rivers in Mississippi...



  Yazoo River At Yazoo City affecting Yazoo County.



  Yazoo River Near Belzoni affecting Humphreys County.



  Yazoo River At Greenwood affecting Leflore County.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHERE...Yazoo River at Yazoo City.



* WHEN...From this morning until further notice.



* IMPACTS...At 36.0 feet, Water approaches houses on Erickson and 

  West Lakeview near Wolf Lake.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 10:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 27.8 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage

    late this morning and continue rising to a crest of 35.9 feet

    Friday morning.

  - Flood stage is 29.0 feet.

  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of

    36.0 feet on 05/21/2019.
