...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis IN has issued a 

Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana...



  Mississinewa River near Ridgeville.



.Rainfall amounts of up to one inch have fallen in northeastern 

portions of central Indiana in the past 24 hours, causing rapid 

rises on the Mississinewa River at Ridgeville. Flooding will likely 

begin shortly.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.



Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 

dangers of flooding.

today.this afternoon by around 345 PM EDT.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL JUST AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT...



* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...Mississinewa River near Ridgeville.



* WHEN...Until just after midnight tonight.



* IMPACTS...At 11.5 feet, Water on the shoulder and edge of SR 1 

  south of the junction with SR 28 in western Randolph County.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 12:00 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 7.7 feet.

  - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage to 11.9 feet

    early this morning. It will then fall late this morning. It

    will rise to 10.9 feet late this afternoon. It will then fall

    below flood stage this evening to 5.8 feet late tonight. It

    will then rise again but remain below flood stage.

  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
