####018001450#### FNUS28 KWNS 292036 FWDD38 Day 3-8 Fire Weather Outlook NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 0334 PM CDT Mon Mar 29 2021 Valid 311200Z - 061200Z An upper-level ridge will overspread the western CONUS starting Wednesday and this ridge will persist through next weekend. This will alleviate most fire weather concerns. The only exception will be in the northern Rockies where stronger mid-level flow is expected around the north side of the ridge. Deep mixing and downslope flow is expected on D4/Thursday in portions of northern Montana. This may bring some critical fire weather conditions. Slightly weaker winds from the ECMWF preclude higher probabilities at this time, but 70 percent probabilities may be needed in later outlooks if GFS wind speeds appear more likely. In addition, some lee troughing may occur as this jet streak moves east of the northern Rockies. This could bring some critical fire weather conditions to portions of the southern High Plains, however, marginal relative humidity and winds preclude the addition of critical probabilities at this time. Some dry and windy conditions are possible next weekend in portions of Montana and the northern Plains. However, the signal is not that strong at this time and therefore, no probabilities have been included. ..Bentley.. 03/29/2021 ...Please see www.spc.noaa.gov/fire for graphic product... $$ ####018000271#### FNUS38 KWNS 292036 PFWF38 DAY 3-8 FIRE WEATHER OUTLOOK AREAL OUTLINE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK 0334 PM CDT MON MAR 29 2021 VALID TIME 311200Z - 061200Z FIRE WEATHER OUTLOOK POINTS DAY 3-8 ...
