...Synopsis...

Mid-to upper level ridging and surface high pressure in the western

CONUS (where the only dry fuels reside) will limit the overall fire

weather threat. Some dry and breezy conditions are possible in

eastern Montana and western North Dakota as an area of low pressure

moves across the Canadian Prairies and strengthens the pressure

gradient. However, fuels are still quite moist in this region and

therefore, no elevated area is warranted.
