Mostly dry conditions are forecast today across northern and central New Mexico with a few showers reaching south central to southeastern areas of the state. A cold front is entering the eastern plains of the state, dropping temperatures by several degrees, but readings will still hover just above normal. Winds will shift from the southwest on Wednesday and Thursday with breezy conditions developing. Mostly dry conditions will continue on Wednesday and Thursday with low chances for a few light showers in western and north central areas of the state. An approaching storm system on Friday will bring higher chances for wetting rain and mountain snow, as well as cooler temperatures through Saturday morning.
