Snow and ice pack remains on the ground across the entire region, though more appreciable melting will likely occur across the piedmont early this week as temperatures moderate. Winds will be light to calm through Monday, generally less than 5 mph out of the northwest (except slightly stronger this evening in the Baltimore MD and Washington DC metros, and southerly over the central Shenandoah Valley and central Virginia piedmont).
